Shakespeare in the park: Julius Caesar

  • Socrates Sculpture Park 32-5 Vernon Boulevard NY, 11106 United States (map)

Julius Ceaser was always one of my favorite plays when I was in college, now you can check out this new twist on the classic tragedy; help Long Island City celebrate the 10th consecutive season of Hip to Hip's Free Shakespeare in the Parks rendition of Julius Caesar. An interactive workshop for kids will be offered 1 hour before the show (4:00pm), which will then be followed by the 90 minute show at 5:00pm. All performances are free and open to the public! Be sure to bring blankets, or any other picnic-appropriate items so you can enjoy the show comfortably in the open air. A timeless and sensational thriller, Julius Caesar is a marvelous play that continues to transcend time, so come out and be apart of the fun!
